DOLLARD FSC Policies, Terms, and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website and our registration system.
1.1 Our Organization
Our legal names are "Club de patinage artistique Dollard-des-Ormeaux", "Figure Skating Club of Dollard-des-Ormeaux", "CPA Dollard", "Dollard FSC". We are incorporated under Canada's Not-For-Profit Corporations Act.
1.2 DOLLARD FSC
In this document DOLLARD FSC or the Club have the same signification described in 1.1.
1.3 Services Provided and Club Structure
The DOLLARD FSC is a non-profit organization supported by volunteers to ensure its proper functioning in accordance with the regulations and policies of Skate Canada. We offer skating programs for all ages and abilities according to standards that have been set by Skate Canada.
Our mission is to enable skaters of all levels to achieve their goals in a positive and safe environment.

3.1 Website, Online payments, terms and conditions
Our website, URL http://cpadollard.com, is hosting by Third-Party named GoDaddy. The https://cpadollard.uplifterinc.com is powered by Third-Party company named Uplifter Inc. (http://www.uplifterinc.com/terms-of-service).
Our objective with the website and the registration system is to support our administrative tasks and to serve our members. We manage the content of this website and the information disclosed, and the services offered by the Club.
Your access to and use of the service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and policies. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms then you may not access the Service.
4.1 Purchase
If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service ("Purchase"), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation: your name your contact information, your child's name, and age.
4.2 Methods of Payment Accepted and Currencies for you Purchase
DOLLARD FSC only accepts online payments in Canadian currency made with Visa or MasterCard. However, should you have any difficulty with this method of payment, you may contact the Club at contactus@cpadollard.com to make special arrangements.
4.3 Payment Service Provider
Our online electronic payment service is provided by a third-party company, named Bambora (https://www.bambora.com/en/ca/), a payment service provider (PSP). DOLLARD FSC does not store any credit card information. It is the responsibility of PSP to accept online electronic payments.
4.4 Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing and emailed to our administrators at contactus@cpadollard.com
- There is a $75.00 non-refundable Skate Canada & Admin fee for cancellations
- No refunds will be issued, except for medical reasons (less Skate Canada & Admin fees, and attended classes/hours cost.)
- CPA Dollard reserves the right to:
- limit registrations,
- cancel programs due to low registration,
- cancel any classes/hours and
- make changes when necessary.
- No makeup classes/hours are permitted for missed classes/hours
- The uniform is not refundable if you have taken possession of it
4.5 Delivery Policy for Any Goods or Services
All programs will take place at the Arena #3, Civic Centre of DDO. Any products purchased on the site will be available for pick-up on the first day of the program, 30 minutes before the lesson.
4.6 Required Equipment
- A CSA approved hockey helmet is mandatory for any Canskate program under badge 6
- Heavy clothing (ie.snowsuits are not recommended) layering of warm clothes recommended
- Mittens and/or gloves are required on the ice
- No jeans, flared pants or long skirts (i.e school uniforms)
4.7 Security
- A No test passed Private Ice skater must be in a lesson at all times
- No parents, siblings, and/or friends are allowed by the players benches. Coaches, skaters and Ice captains are the only individuals permitted in that area during any of our programs
- No gum, drinks or food is to be on the ice or boards
5.1 Third-Party
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by our Club. DOLLARD FSC has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that DOLLARD FSC shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with, use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.
6.1 Privacy Policy
Your privacy and the protection of your personal information is important to us. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our members, skaters, and parents. The Club shares information about our members and skaters with our affiliate, Skate Canada, the national governing body for figure skating in Canada (www.skatecanada.ca). When registering to one of our programs, you become member of Skate Canada. Your personal information is required to register you with Skate Canada in any capacity, including, without limitation, as a Skate Canada registrant, coach or in connection with your affiliation with a skating club or skating school and to administer various services, such as Skate Canada events. Your personal information may also be exchanged with Skate Canada affiliates which includes your local skating club or skating school or provincial association or section. By submitting this form, you expressly provide your consent to the sharing of your personal information with Skate Canada and as described herein for purposes of registration and receipt of national services delivered by Skate Canada. We adopt the 10 Fair Information Principles into our privacy program, and employ reasonable measures to protect against unauthorized access, processing, disclosure, alteration, destruction or loss of your personal information. See Skate Canada's Privacy Policy for more details.
Being a Dollard-des-Ormeaux association, some private information must be shared with the city. By submitting this form, you expressly provide your consent to the sharing of your personal information with Ville de Dollard-des-Ormeaux.
7.1 Picture and Video Policy
You authorize Dollard Figure Skating Club to take photographs/videos during programs, activities, and events which you have registered for or attend. You understand these pictures or video may be used for website, social media, training and/or for promotional purposes without any compensation.
8.1 Discharge of Liability
The Dollard Figure Skating Club shall not be responsible for any damage, injury or loss of property to any member of the club, guests or visitors taken to the club premises regardless of the reason or nature of damage, loss or injury. Every member, guest or visitor shall use the club premises and facilities at his or her own risk.
9.1 Changes Concerning Our Policies, Terms, and Conditions
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Policies, Terms, and conditions at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
